St. Peter's  is a Christian Stewardship Parish

Christian Stewardship is a response we all make to thank God for what he has given us. We regard our lives, our powers and possessions as gifts from God to be enjoyed and used in His service and to meet the needs of all mankind. We seek to be stewards of the Gospel and to share in Christ's mission to the world. We offer to God all that we have whether it be time, talents or financial support and pray that it will be acceptable to Him.

Our Christian Stewardship Prayer

Our Lord God, we thank you for all your blessings,

For life and health,

for laughter and fun,

for all our powers of mind and body;

for our homes and the love of dear ones;

for a well appointed church in which to worship;

for everything that is beautiful, good and true.

But above all we thank you for giving your Son

to be our Saviour and Friend.

Help us to recognise all this in our witness to you,

and to respond with love and generosity.

May we always find our true happiness in pleasing you,

and helping others to know and love you,

for Jesus Christ's sake. Amen.
